Pete Davidson accused of “staging” love affair with Kim Kardashian in video unearthed
Fans accused Pete Davidson of staging his relationship with Kim Kardashian.
Attentive critics have questioned Pete’s intentions with fashion mogul Kim following a “suspicious” move he made in a previous interview, the Daily Mirror reports.
The Saturday Night Live comedian has been dating the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star since October last year.
In a resurfaced clip, the comic chatted with PEOPLE in a virtual interview that raised a lot of eyebrows in February.
Pete was quite flushed when the interviewer, Kay Adams, noticed a subtle gesture he made to his new girlfriend in the background of the chat.
“Is that a Kardashian candle on the other shoulder? I have good eyes, ”she joked.

In response to his question, a rather embarrassed Pete said, “Yes, it is. This is. This is exactly what it is.
The video has since resurfaced on Reddit and eagle-eyed fans are now debating whether or not the candle was purposely placed in front of the camera to attract attention.
A user called Pete and accused the comedian of purposely “staging” his romance with Kim.

While another commented, “He obviously put that candle in sight so that the conversation would lead to his relationship with Kim. Very authentic? “
“Pete lives on the influence he’s getting from hooking up with Kim. This interview proves it, ”someone else interjected.

Earlier this month, Kim even admitted that she never planned to be in a relationship with the King of Staten Island actor.
Speaking on Hoda Kotb’s Making Space podcast, SKIMS founder said, “I think, you know, sometimes things happen when you least expect them. It was the last thing I was really planning on.
“And so when it happened, we were like, ‘Oh my God, I wasn’t going to do this. And that’s not even what I was thinking about ”.
