Mark Owen returns after nine years with a new single – Music

(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 19 – Mark Owen returns after nine years with a new single, You Only Want Me, out today May 19, which anticipates his fifth solo album, Land Of Dreams, which will be released on September 23.

Mark’s unique voice is the protagonist of You Only Want Me and rests on an upbeat arrangement and an overwhelming chorus that make up an incisive and cantabile pop track. The song was written by Mark and Will Bloomfield (The Vaccines, Freya Ridings, Tom Grennan, Holly Humberstone) and was produced by Jennifer Decilveo (Miley Cyrus, Marina, Anne-Marie, Demi Lovato).

The artist will be touring the new album in the UK with a series of dates in October, while this summer he will play at ITV’s Big Jubilee Street Party on June 5th and in two of the main British summer festivals: Isle of Wight Festival on Saturday 18th June and the Latitude Festival on Sunday 24 June.

Mark Owen is one of Britain’s most celebrated music stars. As a member of pop group Take That, he has won eight BRIT Awards, had 12 number 1 singles in the UK, eight albums at number 1 in the UK, sold over 45 million records and played live in front of millions of fans in Worldwide. He released his first solo album, Green Man, following Take That’s first split in 1996 and has since released four other solo albums.

His latest, 2013’s The Art Of Doing Nothing, was his highest-ranking album. (HANDLE).
