A source close to the singer told AND! News how Jennifer Lopez feels about marrying Ben Affleck. “J.Lo is ecstatic and eager to be his wife. She believes that it is true love and that she was meant to be”, the informant said.

Jennifer shared her delight via a video in her newsletter last Friday, telling fans that Ben had popped the question — for the second time! — and even got a glimpse of her sparkly green diamond ring, her “ favorite color”.

The couple tried to keep the news “private for as long as possible,” the source added, describing the engagement as “a very intimate moment, just for the two of them.” “The proposal was discreet but very significant. Ben wanted the ring to be sentimental.”The source added, also noting that JLo’s friends and family are very happy for her.

The Second Chance comes nearly 20 years after the two first got engaged in 2002. They called off the wedding in 2004 and, after the split, remained on friendly terms as they moved on with their lives and families. Ben shares three children, Violet, Seraphina and Samuel, with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, while Jennifer has twins Emme and Max with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.

In May 2021, the couple rekindled their romance following Jennifer’s split from ex-fiancé Alex Rodriguez in April. After rebuilding their relationship and uniting their blended families, Ben and Jen have seemingly found their happiness forever.

“They are both very secure in their relationship and Ben adores her. He truly is meant to be and everyone around him thinks they are a perfect match.”noted a second source.
