This Friday continued the activity of the XXII International Congress of Medicineorganized by students who are in the last year of their degree at the School of Medicine of the UA de Coahuila Unidad Torreón, with a conference that took place virtually in the facilities of the same institution, exposing various topics that have to do with medical innovation.
“It is our third day of the Medical Congress, second day of presentations, remember that on Wednesday we started with the workshops and on Thursday we had the inauguration at the ‘Braulio Fernández Aguirre’ University Cultural Center, in Ciudad Universitaria, where the rector accompanied us. For this Friday, the activity took place virtually with very good presentations, everything was scheduled from here at the facilities of the Faculty of Medicine, with an excellent response”, mentioned Daniel Jared Franco Carrillo, co-organizer of the Congress.

Among the topics discussed on Friday, the following stand out:
“Study of cancer under space conditions, a new alternative?”, by Dr. José Luis Cortés; “A root solution, fetal surgery”, by Dr. Raigam Martínez; “From research to practice: The road to discovering the molecular basis of hematopoietic syndromes”, by Dr. Kumar; as well as “Tissue Engineering: A new era of medicine”.
For this Saturday, the last day of the Congress, the activity returns to the ‘Braulio Fernández Aguirre’ Cultural Center, where highly relevant lectures will be given in person, starting at 8 in the morning with the theme “DBS Cerebral Pacemaker: A therapy avant-garde for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease, depression and epilepsy”, by Dr. Nery Alexander González, continuing the presentations until approximately 5 or 6 in the afternoon.
