“Those of us who come from Europe are a little affected by playing at the Azteca”

Hirving ‘Chucky’ Lozano spoke to ‘TUDN’ about how difficult it has been for them to play in the Coloso de Santa Úrsula, the lack of goals in the Tri and improvements in teamwork.

“The truth does affect us (playing in the Azteca) a little for those of us who come from Europe and it feels and is seen because we are not the same but that’s the way it is and we have to face it as it is, but it does affect us a little and we have to move on”.

The striker assured that it is always frustrating when the results do not occur, but it is something normal and what they must deal with in order to get out of the losing streak.

“Yes (there is frustration due to the drought of goals in the Mexican team), a forward always happens that way, there is always a moment when no goal is scored, but I assure you that any time it does score, it will be different”.

Lozano spoke about how complicated it is to join the national team because the players get used to meeting the demands of their different clubs.

“I think it’s fine, we’re going step by step, we haven’t played many games together and it’s different from a club because they ask you for different things. I know it’s been a while, I think we’re on the right track and the goal is to win and then we’ll accompany the I work to improve.”

‘Chucky’ showed that union and trust permeate the squad, revealing that together with Raúl Jiménez and ‘Tecatito’ Corona they share recommendations to improve their performances.

“We always talk about how we can improve the three of us together, we try to help each other to know what movements to do better, what movements for Raúl or Tecate, of course we talk.”
