Will “Harry Potter” actually be remade? 20 years after the theatrical release of “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”, this question is making the rounds. After all, there was already a message from the reliable website The Hollywood Reporter that Warner Bros. was already working on a new edition in series form.
Whether already now or in 20 years: a retelling of the story of Harry Potter should come sooner or later and then of course the question arises to what extent the old actors will be involved. Daniel Radcliffe And Co. could at least play the adults of the story without any problems in a few years’ time, which would be a nice touch for fans of the original films.

On an issue of Game Night on the Happy Sad Confused podcast (via The Wrap) host Josh Horowitz asked Daniel Radcliffe and his Miracle Workers co-stars what roles they would play in a remake of Harry Potter would. The former “Harry Potter” actor named two candidates:
“I probably would Sirius or Lupine want to take. With these two characters, I always thought to myself, ‘They are great.’ And of course I’m also biased by my experience of filming these scenes with these people and they are some of my favorite memories. “
Our Video shows you which “Harry Potter” stars we have unfortunately had to say goodbye to:
Could Daniel Radcliffe really play Lupine or Sirius?
Daniel Radcliffe would like to follow in the footsteps of two of the best actors that the “Harry Potter” films have to offer and who did their job well. Remus Lupine was charmingly brought to life by David Thewlis, while Gary Oldman as Sirius Black was able to explore the full range of the character. A truly difficult legacy, but Radcliffe has been involved in such ambitious and often wacky projects for years that he could certainly train himself the necessary skills.
Especially since it would almost have a poetic beauty if the former Harry Potter actor would play one of the important replacement father characters for the new Harry Potter in a remake. Although it would also make sense for Daniel Radcliffe to play Harry’s real father James, then he would only have an extremely small role in a new edition, as is well known.
Mind you, all of this is currently just a fantasy. After all, there is officially no reboot in progress; Warner Bros. never confirmed the series project. And even if he did, Daniel Radcliffe would still have to be engaged in a role. The question is, does he really feel like being associated with the franchise again after what has felt like selecting all of the roles in the past few years to break free of that one role. In order to reach the right age for the roles, Radcliffe would have to age a few years anyway and he might be more willing to join the series again.
Fans could look forward to a big reunion for the 20th birthday of the first film this year, but in July 2021, Radcliffe was not convinced by Entertainment Tonight that he could be there. He said that he will actually be working on various projects until the end of the year and that is why he will be busy all the time:
“So yeah, I don’t know. I’m sure there will be some kind of celebration, but I don’t know if we’ll get together or something. I’m sorry if that’s a bit of a disappointment for some. “
Everyone knows Harry Potter, of course, but do you remember the names of these 20 characters? Figure it out:
