Amy Schumer had jokingly accused Krasinski of being married to Emily Blunt for career reasons. Now he reacts.
The apocalyptic thriller “A Quiet Place 2” is one of the first films to be shown in cinemas again after the Corona lockdown – accordingly, the release is hyped into an event. As in the first part, Emily Blunt can be seen in the leading role, and husband John Krasinski was again responsible for the script and the direction.

Comedian Amy Schumer has already seen the film – and was thrilled on Instagram. Under one post, she wrote: “I loved every second of ‘A Quiet Place’, it’s even better than the first part that already blew me away. It’s great to be in a cinema.”
But her review didn’t end there: “Although I’ve been saying for a very long time that I think Emily and John have a sham marriage for publicity. But you should still see the film,” Schumer jokes.
As “Insider” reports, John Krasinski reacted promptly – and commented under the post: “Thank you, Amy … for letting our entire marriage blow up.” The posting of Amy Schumer has since been deleted for unknown reasons.
Krasinski and Blunt have been married since 2010 and have two daughters together. John Krasinski told ET Online that it made him nervous to work with his wife. “There are many unknown factors. We have never worked together, even though we are in the same business. This business is a bit like being on different islands. She’s making a movie and I never really meet the crew and I don’t see her performance.”
But now he is happy to have seen Emily Blunt live at work. “Being there when she does what she does – I was just overwhelmed and in awe,” Krasinski said of his wife. During the shooting of “A Quiet Place 2”, everything was much more relaxed: “With the second film, there were no nerves left in the game. It was a celebration.”
