Billie Eilish has revealed that she doesn’t particularly like being alone.
The ‘everything i wanted’ hitmaker admits that while she likes to have “autonomy”, she really “freaks out” when she’s alone and has a lot of “strange, irrational fears”, which is why she prefers the closeness of her parents.
Eilish said in an interview with The Guardian newspaper: “I really don’t like being alone. I like to have anonymity or autonomy, but I really freak out when I’m alone. I hate it. I have a lot of stalkers and I have people who want to do bad things to me and I’m also afraid of the dark and what might be under beds and sofas. I have a lot of strange, irrational fears. So I’m still with my parents a lot. I just love my parents and I really like it here.” Billie admits that she can also make her family angry and finds that equestrian sports help her relieve stress. About her handling of her anger, the artist added: “I’m a rider and that gives a lot of adrenaline and takes a lot of strength and it’s exhausting. That’s a big stress reliever for me. I’ve been less angry and emotional since I started it again. My family, my God, makes me so angry. Oh, my family is like everyone else’s. There’s anger – and love, so it kind of balances it all out.”
