Berlin – Three years ago, “A Quiet Place” caused chebbed fingernails in cinemas all over the world. The horror thriller about deadly, blind aliens chasing their ears on Earth and a family struggling to survive in this scenario was a huge cinema success in 2018. With a relatively small production budget of around $20 million, John Krasinski’s shocker grossed over $340 million worldwide. A sequel was really only a matter of time. And now the time has come: “A Quiet Place 2” will be shown in German cinemas (from 24.6.). In the second part, lead actress Emily Blunt, 38, is on her own. She has to defend herself and her children against the monsters without her film husband Krasinski (with whom she is also married in real life, lives in New York and has two daughters).
Miss Blunt, as with the first part, you were now in front of the camera of your husband John Krasinski again in “A Quiet Place 2”. If possible, would you prefer to work only with your husband?
