Only Murders In The Building, series

From when? August 31

Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez share not only a house in this series, but also an obsession with true crime. When a gruesome death occurs in their building on the Upper West Side, the trio suspects a murder and begins to investigate on their own. The Hulu production pursues the old question of how well you really know your neighbors and incidentally takes the oversaturated true-crime scene to task.

On top of that, there is a supply of films: Just in time for the anniversary of the construction of the Berlin Wall (August 13), Disney+ is adding “Good Bye Lenin!” to its program; meanwhile, the climbing thriller “127 Hours” (August 20) warns against careless outdoor activities, and “Wall Street” (August 27) reveals the gloomy machinations and masterminds of the US economy.
