The singer says this initiative arises “from her heart” and is focused on youth.
Award-winning singer Selena Gomez recently announced the opening of her own mental health campaign.
The singer announced the news on Instagram with a talk and says her entire statement came “from my heart” and is completely focused on youth.
Gomez scheduled the launch with Mental Health Awareness Month and aims to “empower millennial and Gen Z communities to express themselves and encourage financial support to expand access to mental health resources in educational settings.”
In his statement, Gomez admitted, “Be firsthand how terrifying and lonely it can feel to face anxiety and depression for yourself at an early age. If I had learned about my mental health earlier, I would have been taught about my condition in school the way they did on other subjects, my experience could have been very different.”
