The actress was candid about being known as a star who is only obsessed with her depression.
Lili Reinhart recently sat down to chat and was candid about being known as a star who is only obsessed with her depression and mental health.
The actress was honest with The New York Times and was quoted as saying, “Three years ago I had no idea I would be known as the girl who talks about her depression all the time. Is that something I would necessarily have tried to look for? No, but I’m glad it happened like this.”
Reinhart also added: “I’m the kind of person who, if I’m struggling with something, I need to talk about it. That’s the only way I can get over it.”
Riverdale’s star recently turned to Twitter to end the relentless harassment she is being subjected to and wrote, “If you’ve gained weight during this pandemic, like me and millions of more people, you should know that you don’t need to justify the way they look at you. You don’t need to ‘explain’ it to other people.”
The attacks on Twitter didn’t end either, the actress later posted another public aftershock to internet users when she wrote, “Anyone who comments on your weight gain is incredibly insecure. Safe and sensible people don’t insult others.”
Reinhart finished his tweet collection with a note that read: “Remember that the next time a random person feels the need to comment on your appearance. He accepts that they are dealing with their own insecurities. And go ahead with love.”
