The Struts and Paris Jackson first collaborated together on “Low Key in Love”, a single that talks about the frustration that those who have to hide their feelings in front of their loved ones live.
The song is accompanied by a music video directed by Bryson Roatch that you can see below.
“Low Key in Love was written after a date in a Los Angeles bar, the Good Times at Davey Wayne’s – explains Struts voice Luke Spiller – I went back to the studio explaining that I wanted a song that told the essence of the feeling you feel when entering a bar. When we started thinking about a duet I thought about that evening and remembered that Paris had played a wonderful acoustic set. Something inside me told me that things don’t happen without a reason and I decided to write them down. I am convinced that some things are written in the stars. Paris’ presence gives the song a new dimension, brings it to life. She’s wonderful, a star.”
