Lynne Spears considers $890,000 to be “substantially inappropriate” and asks the court to review.
Britney Spears’s mother, Lynne Spears, has opposed Jamie Spears’ attorney’s fees in his daughter’s guardianship case.
In a court document obtained by People, Lynne disagreed with Jamie’s $890,000 legal counseling fees, saying the requested fees were “procedural and substantially inappropriate.”
The law firm had sought compensation for its services which, according to Lynne, were not “performed in good faith for the benefit” of Britney.
He asked the court to review the costs and to have at least $224,000 “reimbursed immediately,” as it was used in the law firm’s communication with the press.
