Thanks to the web and social networks, even if a film was released in the cinema months and months before, we are given the opportunity to remain in the fictional universe of our preference for a little longer, and this also thanks to the artists who they work, and the art they share with us. Like this concept art of Thanos’ alternative look.
The concept artist Jerad S. Marantz, who is recently publishing several of his sketches, then unused, for the last two chapters of the Avengers saga, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, such as the alternative costume of Black Widow, or another look for Ebony Maw, today shared a somewhat different version of Thanos’s armor (Josh Brolin).
These, in the Instagram post that you also find at the bottom of the news, would seem to be very close to the look of the comics, but the darker shades would have made it more complicated to create a greater contrast on the screen.
Between The Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers: Endgame, however, the appearance and look of the Mad Titan have changed considerably, starting with the colors.
The book Avengers Endgame – The Art of the Movie has also recently been published, in which you can see dozens of unpublished scenes and artwork.
