Following rumors about the introduction of the Justice Society of America in Black Adam, a new report by the scooper Charles Murphy would seem to confirm Hawkgirl’s presence in the Jaumet Collet-Serra film.
According to Murphy, Warner Bros. and DC Films are looking for an actress aged 20 to 30 to play Hawkgirl ahead of the start of the filming set in July 2020, a date confirmed by Dwayne Johnson himself before unveiling the official release of Black Adam.
The report also confirms the presence of Doctor Fate and Isis (as anticipated in late November by Heroic Hollywood), as well as that of the members of the JSA Hawkman, Atom Smasher and Stargirl: according to Murphy, the study would be moving patiently because of the great potential of the characters in any DCEU spin-off.
Waiting for a confirmation (or denial) by Warner Bros. – the first official details could arrive in the early months of 2020 – we remind you that the film with The Rock will debut in theaters on December 22, 2021, a few months away from the second chapter of Shazam !, whose release is scheduled for April 1, 2022.
In addition, these days, the production has hired Tom Meyer (Real Steel) as a production designer.
