Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot stars in a new movie showing gameplay sequences, this time with Trunks as a playable character.
Bandai Namco has unveiled a new gameplay video of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot on the occasion of the Jump Festa 2020 event, an annual convention held every year in Tokyo.
The video shows Trunks as a playable character in action. In our latest rehearsal of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Aligi Comandini wrote: “Kakarot is clearly an operation that largely focuses on fanservice and on the spectacularity guaranteed by Cyberconnect’s mastery in creating incredible cutscenes. Our test was short but sufficient to understand what the nature of the title is (although there may still be a lot of surprises during the campaign).
Having said that, albeit devoid of particular technicalities or original systems, the value of the game for a fan of the Toriyama series remains undeniable, and its high production values potentially place it head and shoulders above most manga games. It remains only to be understood to what extent the gameplay will be able to withstand the stratospheric intermission scenes, during the long epic of Goku and his companions. “
We remind you that the release date of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is scheduled for January 17, 2020, on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
