343 Industries releases some updates on the status of the works of Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC with information and images of Halo 1 and 2 with a beta coming soon.
With the launch of Halo: Reach, the work continues to bring the other chapters of Halo: The Master Chief Collection to PC, starting with Halo 1 and Halo 2 and its upcoming beta, with the chapters that have shown in the first images within the update on the official 343 Industries blog.
As reported by 343 Industries, Halo 1 and 2 for the Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC have already been in the pre-alpha phase for some time and are progressing well, with the first “flights”, that is, the beta tests distributed to a limited number of users, which are expected in January 2020, still without a precise launch date.
Apparently, the work on Halo 2 continues immediately after those on Halo 1 but both projects move forward at the same time, only that the first to arrive incomplete form will obviously be the first chapter, followed by Halo 2: Anniversary Edition.
Both chapters of Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC already support mouse and keyboard, as well as adjustments regarding the visual field and further support on the ratio of the image and more. The update on the 343 Industries blog also ends with a first teaser image regarding Halo 3, but for the latter, in the PC version, there are still no precise timings.
