The original Rainbow Six: Siege development team has announced a handover to pursue a new yet unannounced project.
Rainbow Six: Siege is the protagonist of a handover: the original game development team will dedicate itself to a new project, being replaced by other figures.
Specifically, the creative director Xavier Marquis and brand director Alexandre Remy will leave room for other people, above all the game director Leroy Athanassoff to coordinate the work on Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege from now on.
“There was a time when the game depended heavily on us during its initial genesis,” Marquis said. “However now Rainbow Six: Siege is something different, a whole between game and community.”
The change, Ubisoft confirms, will in no way imply a stop to development: the intention of the French company is to continue to renew the experience for a long time.
