Red Dead Redemption 2: On Steam Already Available in a 20% Discount, Understated Sales?

Red Dead Redemption 2 does not seem to have been very successful on Steam: the game is already being promoted.

After the signals that emerged from the Steam sales ranking, new confirmations seem to come from a low-performance performance recorded by Red Dead Redemption 2 on the Valve platform.

The Rockstar Games western is in fact already in a 20% discount, although it has only entered the store catalog by a handful of days. Usually, Valve does not allow you to activate offers before one month has passed since the product was launched, with the exception of offers for pre-orders, so it is possible that the choice was dictated by lackluster performance.

As we have already indicated in recent days, a further indication comes from the number of contemporary players registered on day one. Red Dead Redemption 2 has never appeared in the top 10; to this we add the negative reviews that the game received from the Steam audience, complaining about technical problems and difficulty in starting.

We also remember that Red Dead Redemption 2 was released on Valve’s client one month after the game’s debut on the Rockstar Games Launcher and Epic Games Store.
