World of Warcraft Classic premiered yesterday.
Queues, great excitement and millions of viewers. It was a good start when it came to World of Warcraft Classic. Blizzard definitely has reasons to be satisfied.
The hype was huge
People started to gather a few or even several hours earlier. The servers started and greeted most people with gruesome queues. Record holders had over 20,000 people.
The audience on Twitch makes a huge impression. WoW at one point exceeded one million.
At the same time, WoWa broadcast about 18,000 channels. This is a really good result, achieved by the biggest e-sports tournaments, or just the biggest world premieres.
Interestingly, the audience continues to add. We have about 600,000 viewers the day after the premiere. Statistics have stopped at a certain level and are no longer falling. People who play from yesterday leave and sleep in their place after yesterday’s premiere.
