      • In the August 22 hotfix, we reduced the explosion radius by 42%. This change, however, seemed particularly exaggerated and it was too difficult for the BRUTAL with reduced rockets and poorer mobility to hit targets. On August 23, we returned the damage radius (in basic modes) to the value before August 22. We are still monitoring changes in BRUTAL to make sure that they coincide with our goals.
        • From version 10.20, these changes also apply to Arena games and tournaments.
    • Breakout Cooldown increased from 3 to 5 seconds.
    • Decreased acceleration after afterburner use in the air by 33%.
    • Adjusted the frequency of BRUTAL in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd phase of the storm in basic game modes.
      • Note: These changes do not affect the frequency of occurrences in Arena games and tournaments. These occurrences can be found in Update 10.10.

Bug fixes

  • Throwing out of BRUTAL no longer causes players to go into an unintentional knock downstate in which they can walk and run, but they can’t be revived.

  • BRUTAL damage is no longer included in the Storm Anger damage threshold.
  • Thunderbolt no longer hurts players in indestructible buildings.
  • Destroying the object with the ammo crate or container now opens it.

Graphics and animation

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue that caused Catalyst’s left hand to pass through some backpacks in the idle position in the lobby.
  • The J4K-MU-T4M costume and EQ painting now have the correct animations on the PlayStation 4 console.
  • Entering BRUTAL in the Rift Town slot zone and leaving this zone in BRUTAL no longer prevents you from restoring a player’s equipped outfit.

Sound

  • The shape of the space cracking from the Crack from the sphere to the capsule was changed.
    • This is to improve the audibility of the Crack objects when they rise high above the players.
  • The Minigun’s overheating sound was turned down.

  • The fuse sound from the Frag Grenade no longer emits during the cast.

  • After using bandages or small cover potions, there is no longer an error in rounding health and cover values.
  • Fixed an issue that resulted in the wrong set of team members to be displayed in the social panel.

  • Local replays now have the same interface as server or broadcast replays.
  • After eliminating the player during the replay, the camera will start tracking his teammates or the player who eliminated him.
  • The order and elements of the replay control interface have been changed.
    • As part of this change, the player list call button has been removed. Players can still call this list from the map screen.
  • On August 20, we turned off server replay streaming on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles to improve stability and address performance degradation.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue that caused the smaller Fracture Slots objects that hit the ground to disappear after rewinding.

  • Now the mission to evacuate the shelter in the Valley of Samovitality region with a power level of 64 is guaranteed.
  • The rewards received for completing the shadow ball quest have been increased.

Bug fixes

  • The vehicle from “Time to hit the road” now disappears when defeated in a mission.
  • MISIU and the Electric Tower are now destroyed when a truck collides with the story “Time to hit the road” if they are placed on its route.
  • Locating servers in the “Have you tried turning it off and on?” Mission now requires closer approach to servers; moreover, it can’t be done through walls.
  • The Valley of Solitude map now indicates in which zones the “Broader perspective” quest can be completed.
  • Players in private teams will no longer lose access to low-level zones when paired with players with higher power levels.
  • Blocks now appear correctly in all waves of storm shield defense.
  • Note: We noticed that this error was blocking the correct places for the appearance of hollow bricks, so now some amplifiers will be attacked from another direction!

Bug fixes

  • You can now increase the rarity class of submachine guns.
  • The traps now rotate correctly when placed in the absence of a floor.
  • The fog blasters no longer slip when the player rejects the laser shot.
  • Fixed an issue in the lamp sniper rifle that would aim at various points with subsequent shots.
  • The ray of death no longer emits bright white flares when shot near other players.
  • The banner is no longer self-destructive unless the same player sets a new banner.

Game

  • The option of personalizing your pickaxes is now available in the cabinet!
    • Choose any style unlocked as part of the game’s progress or any pickaxe obtained in Battle Royale.
    • You can also use pickaxes acquired during the Save the World campaign in Battle Royale – log in to the campaign mode to unlock them.

      • Note: We remove the strong attack of the pickaxes because it does not match the collection. This change also includes the addition of double pickaxes. The change does not apply to Impact of the Demolition Outpost.
  • War games – Double clash: Increased resistance to knockout of gold jitters so that they cannot be permanently locked in place using freezing traps and jumping panels.

Bug fixes

  • War Games, Quantum Countdown: Fixed a bug that caused the second wave to appear in the wrong place.
  • Active Camp Transmitter now appears correctly for players joining an ongoing Camp Destruction Mission.
  • The truck no longer jams apparently after re-connecting in the thread “Time to hit the road”.

General

  • Players will now receive all the pickaxes they have acquired while playing the Save the World campaign for use in all game modes. To unlock them, log into the Save the World campaign.

Social

  • Matchmaking will no longer be interrupted if the player waiting for the game leaves the team.

Efficiency

  • iOS now optimizes content the first time you start the game after updating it. This will reduce stuttering and loading times while waiting for the war bus to depart.
  • Re-enabled 60 fps mode on iPhone 8.
  • Fortnite loading time has been reduced on some Mac models.
  • The performance degradation on Xbox One and Switch has been fixed in version 10.10. This patch will reduce loading times and reduce situations where players landed on buildings with low levels of detail.
  • The stability and performance of the iOS version have been improved by reducing the loading distance of levels.
  • This can affect the appearance of distant objects.
