Shadowgun Legends’ subjective shooter for mobile platforms has reached 10 million downloads on the App Store and Google Play.
Perhaps not everyone knows Shadowgun Legends, but the first-person shooter from Madfinger Games has achieved considerable popularity having reached 10 million downloads.
Shadowgun Legends, by the authors of Dead Trigger 2 and Unkilled, is a game developed specifically for smartphones, available on iOS and Android and released just over a year ago. Just as classic games of this type do on consoles, Shadowgun Legends also offers a single-player campaign and various multiplayer, cooperative and competitive modes.
Featuring a futuristic setting, Shadowgun Legends stages humanity’s struggle against an overwhelming alien invasion force, with Shadowguns finding themselves the last line of defense in an unequal war.
Obviously, the fact that it is a free-to-play definitely facilitates things, as regards the achievement of high figures in terms of downloads, but considering the enormous competition that characterizes the mobile market on this front, reaching 10 millions of downloads in a year is still a significant milestone.
